Construction Methods
We offer a wide range of construction materials and assembly options. No matter which you choose, every drawer box is designed to last and manufactured to the highest build standards.
A series of pins cut to extend from the end of one board interlock with tails cut into the end of another. Once glued, a wooden dovetail joint requires no mechanical fasteners, the strongest box we build.
Doweled construction offers good quality at a very affordable price. Doweled drawer boxes can also be flat-packed for easy shipping and on-site assembly.
Drawer Box Side Options
Choose the profile that suits the cabinet, square standard sides, tapered angled sides, or a decorative scalloped cut-out.
Full-height square sides, the most common profile, and the best canvas for a laser-engraved logo.
Sides taper down toward the front for easier access and a lighter look inside the cabinet.
A curved cut-out along the side gives a decorative profile and an easy reach into the box.

Notch, Drill & Clip
We can construct drawer boxes notched, drilled and clipped for undermount drawer slides. We carry adjustable and standard clips from Hettich, Blum, Salice and Grass, matching slides, including soft close, are also available.
Boxes arrive pre-notched at the back and pre-drilled for clips, so the slide simply snaps in, no measuring or drilling on site.

Sizing & Tolerances
First determine the drawer opening size and drawer side thickness. Use the thickness to look up the subtraction factor in the chart, then subtract it from the opening size.
Select the drawer side thickness you plan to order.

Worked example
An 18′ drawer opening with a 5/8′ side thickness has a subtraction factor of 3/8′, so the outside drawer width is 18′ − 3/8′ = 17-5/8′.

Drawer Scoop Options
Scoops act as pullouts for drawer boxes, allowing easy access without hardware. Most manufacturers offer two styles; we offer three. Scoops are centered on the front of the drawer box.

Custom Engraved Laser Logos
Give the lasting impression of a completely custom drawer box by leaving a signature of your craftsmanship with your company's logo. For the best results we recommend laser engraving on alder, cherry, maple, red birch and walnut.
Logo Requirements
Please submit a black & white version of your logo in PDF format to your customer service rep. There is a one-time setup fee per logo used.
Lipped Drawer Boxes
Lipped drawer boxes combine the box and the face into one unit. Choose dovetail or doweled construction with a solid or plywood face lip.
