Drawer Box Construction Methods
Construction Options to Fit Any Style or Budget
Ultimate Cabinets, Inc. offers a wide range of construction materials and assembly options for our drawer boxes. No matter the material or construction option you choose, all of our drawer boxes are designed to last and they are manufactured to the highest build standards.
Dovetail Construction
Feature a series of pins cut to extend from the end of one board to interlock with a series of tails cut into the end of another board. Once glued, a wooden dovetail joint requires no mechanical fasteners.
Doweled Construction
Doweled construction offers good quality at a very affordable price. Another benefit is that doweled drawer boxes can be flat-packed for easy shipping and on-site assembly.

Quick & Easy Drawer Box Installation
Ultimate Cabinets, Inc. can construct drawer boxes that are notched, drilled, and clipped for the installation of undermount drawer slides. We carry adjustable and standard clips from Hettich, Blum, Salice, and Grass. Matching slides are also available (including soft close options).

Outside Drawer Width = Drawer Opening (-) Subtraction Factor
To calculate Outside Drawer Width, first determine Drawer Opening size and Drawer Side Thickness. Use Thickness to look-up Subtraction Factor on chart below. Then simply subtract Subtraction Factor from Drawer Opening size.Side Thickness:

Convenient & Functional
Most drawer box manufactures only offer 2 different drawer front scoop styles. Ultimate Cabinets, Inc. believes that’s not enough, so we offer 3 different style options for you to choose from. Scoops act as pullouts for drawer boxes which allow for easy access.
Scoops are centered on the front of the drawer box.

Custom Engraved Laser Logos
Sign Your Work
Give the lasting impression of a completely custom drawer box by leaving a signature of your craftsmanship with your company’s logo. Drawer boxes can be uniquely created with different material options. For the best results Ultimate Cabinets, Inc. recommends laser engraving on alder, cherry, maple, red birch & walnut wood types.
Logo Requirements - For the best results please submit a BLACK & WHITE version of your logo in PDF format to your customer service rep. There is a one-time setup fee per logo used.

File Organization, Without the File Cabinet
Keep all your paperwork and important files tucked away nice and neat in a Ultimate Cabinets, Inc. file drawer box. Our file boxes are available with file folder rails mounted to hang file folders parallel to the length, or width of the box.

Neat & Discrete Trash Bin Storage
Pull Out Trash Bins from Ultimate Cabinets, Inc. keep garbage out of sight and save floor space. The crafted drawer mounted on the inside of the cabinet allows the trash bins to slide out when the door is opened for easy operation. Multiple trash bins allow for sorting of trash and recyclables.
